Thank you. Hi everybody. Welcome back to the money packs. We're so excited to be here again. Um, how is it in uh snowy New Jersey? Yes, we are the snow is evaporating. Yeah, that means the sun is shining, I hope.
SPEAKER_00Uh no. Um, it's warmer and spring is approaching, and we are so excited. We are very close. I feel like once we get to March, it's like there are very few days that it can be less than 32 degrees in New Jersey. So you're very optimistic. So we're 11 days away from being very optimistic about the weather.
SPEAKER_01I will uh I will refrain from sharing my weather because it is absolutely beautiful here. So I'll just leave it at that.
SPEAKER_00You enjoy your gorgeous, no humidity, sunny weather. Yes out by the pool in February.
SPEAKER_01Exactly.
SPEAKER_00Oh, wait, I'm gonna be there with you next week in Tampa. Next week. So yeah, so next week, everybody, you can see us together. Um, yeah, so look forward to having Dana and Kim on the same screen.
SPEAKER_01Um together. We'll make a makeshift office somewhere.
SPEAKER_00We'll just go to a coffee shop, it's all good.
SPEAKER_01There we go. All right, so we've been talking about this money habit thing that uh Mike McAllowitz has, you know, created. And it's it's pretty amazing, built off the profit first system. And this is more for your personal finances. And we talked the last couple of days about what it is and how how we can differentiate it from actual budgeting. But Kim, like who is who is this best suited for? Like who can use the money habit?
SPEAKER_00Yes, so best suited for the money habit would be an entrepreneur, a business owner, a head of a household, um, somebody who is an employee of a business, anyone who is really looking to gain clarity and confidence around their money. And we're looking at women business owners, women who are CEOs of their household, women who are looking to gain confidence and clarity around their cash so that we can approach our money with peace and calm and have and just have tons of awareness around our money. I feel that you know, we work with a lot of women business owners on the profit first methodology for their businesses. And therefore, as we're working through our target market and who we're working with at the money fix, we're really focusing on those women business owners, women heads of household who are looking to help their families and their community, uh, their employees, their staff, who are looking to have confidence and have less worry and less anxiety about how am I gonna get to my next paycheck?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like nobody wants to live paycheck to paycheck anymore. So it'd be nice to have something that's like we said, set it and forget it, learn it, right? Learn it and then be able to pass it on, right? Right. That's what we're talking about.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, exactly. And when we talk about working with the business owners, since women business owners employ other people, right? Like so it's like you have other people on your staff. So women business owners are uniquely positioned to then share the money habit concept with their employees. And the idea with all of this is we want to serve as many people as possible. We want to improve the lives of as many people as possible utilizing the money habit methodology. Um, we say a lot here that everyone deserves to achieve a dream lifestyle. Why not make it sensational? And we want that for as many people out there, for all of you listening to our podcast, for your friends, for your families, for your colleagues. Um the more we share this, the more peace and joy and calm we're all going to experience.
SPEAKER_01I was just gonna say it's it kind of takes that struggle and worry about you know finances, which people t typically write worry about money all the time. So this kind of takes that worry and stress, kind of detracts from it, right? Is that what you're trying to say?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and it it's it provides you with the your money is data, right? Your money does not define you, right? It's it doesn't define who you are, but we get so hung up with how much cash we have and how much cash we're have available to do things or to buy things or to experience um things. And but realistically, the money in your bank account is just a data point, right? And then it the the real um secret sauce is what do you do with those hard-earned dollars? And what we are encouraging you to do with the money habit is to give purpose to all of your hard-earned dollars. And again, there's no judgment over what you do with it, where you're spending it, as long as you are doing it in a do spending your money in a responsible manner. So therefore, you can get to the point that you're living a life of financial independence.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Bringing that intentionality gives gives such clear, gives it more of a clear picture, especially for for me. And I know for you, like we talk about this all the time. You know, we want to go on vacations or we want to be able to go out to dinner or to a Yankee game next week. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_00We got a good deal on those tickets, by the way. So yeah, we took advantage of some pre-sale tickets to get like $10, $10 spring trading tickets for the Yankee game. Woo-hoo! Better than the better than the well, anyway, yeah, that's a whole nother story about going to sporting events and doing the standing room only ticket rather than the seated ticket for less.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. But but we're talking about that right, that intention, you know, what are we doing with it? What what's what's the intention behind the dollar, right? What where are we putting it? And and opening those those bank accounts will kind of give it more intention, right? Right. Um, and and that would be part of our wants, right? We want to go to that Yankee game and and we want to be able to afford it, and we don't want to really have to think about it. So, you know, setting that percentage aside makes a lot of sense. I think it would be great for for any entrepreneur or any mom or any, you know, anybody really.
SPEAKER_00Our kids even, right? Like we're talking about, yeah, yeah. As a young adult starting your first job, your second job, your third year into your first job, whatever it is. Exactly. You again, we don't the school system doesn't teach you how to manage your money. Yeah. And this methodology gives you a framework and a roadmap to allocate all those hard-earned dollars to your needs, your wants, your dreams, your fix in you know, future spending and your emergency fund. And it the methodology outlines that all for you. And by creating strong habits around your lifestyle, around your money, you're going to get on the path to financial independence.
SPEAKER_01Love it. Love it. I think it's I think it's an amazing platform for anybody. And and I hope I hope our listeners are taking advantage of all of this great stuff because it really is amazing.
SPEAKER_00Right. And you know, you talked a lot about intention, and I I believe intention is your word for the year. It is my word of the year. It is my word of the year. And my words for the year, because I couldn't land on just one, are to be curiously courageous or courageously curious. So therefore, today what we're encouraging you all to be is to be curiously courageous and consider the money habit methodology in your life so that you can proceed with intention around all the hard-earned dollars that you're bringing into your household and making available for yourself, for your family, and really work toward this true lifestyle of living in financial independence and getting to the point where you're moving from being anxious about the money to having peace with where you're at and what cash you have available. Not being, you know, moving from being reactive about like, oh no, I have an insurance payment that I wasn't anticipating to a point where you're being intentional about saving for that upcoming insurance payment, and therefore you're being proactive around your money. And then eliminating that uncertainty that you're not sure what's coming up next and what's gonna, you know, what demands on your cash you're going to have. But with the intention of looking at your bank account, looking at your expenses, assigning a purpose to every dollar, you're getting to the point where you're achieving certainty around your money and around your cash and your future.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And in the same breath, you have that calm, right? You're setting yourself up to eliminate the stress and be calm about it. Because if you if you figure this out, right, with our help, I think it just brings more clarity and more calm to the cash that you have coming in.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna add one more C word because I love three words confidence.
SPEAKER_01Confidence, yay! Confidence, yeah, exactly. So, what was it? Calm, confidence, clarity.
SPEAKER_00Clarity.
SPEAKER_01Got it. I'm writing it down.
SPEAKER_00We'll share it all with you later, everybody. So yeah, but we again we look excited, we're so excited to share this methodology to help you have it stack your way to financial independence with the money fix utilizing the money habit methodology based on a book published by Mike McAllowitz, his latest bestseller. So excited, and thank you all for tuning in. Live a happy, healthy, and harmonious day, everyone. Enjoy and we'll see you again soon.
SPEAKER_01See you soon. Thanks, Kim.
SPEAKER_00Thanks, Dana.
